We support international startups that are considering Uruguay as a base of operations to expand into Latin America, through a week-long immersion program in the country. The program, led by ANII and Uruguay XXI, aims to position Uruguay as a regional hub for innovation, business development, and the expansion of startups with international reach.

The call for applications is aimed at startups with the following characteristics:

• Companies incorporated abroad with a maximum of 5 years of existence.
• Entrepreneurial teams holding at least 51% of the applying company's shares.
• Technology-based or science-technology-based.
• In early stages, with technical validation, a minimum viable product or a functional prototype, and demonstrable traction.
• Value proposals with a significant differentiation from existing local solutions.

The startups selected for this third edition will participate in a week-long immersion in Uruguay’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, with access to networking activities, connections with key ecosystem players, participation in workshops, and the presentation of support tools for the growth and internationalization of their business.

The program will cover travel and accommodation expenses in Uruguay for one founder per selected startup.
